The patients suffering from diabetes as well have risks of having a slow process of healing from wounds and are in many instances found to have issues of tingling and pain. There are risks of having patches in the skin as well due to the increasing amount of glucose in the body (Katsarou et al., 2017). The condition affects the quality of life of patients and hence there is a need for the healthcare providers to help in the provision of the interventions to manage the health condition.
